ICE agents, nearly a dozen in number, allegedly turned a Pico Rivera school parking lot into a makeshift restroom just yards from two playgrounds, sparking Google searches for 'ICE agent school trespass laws' and 'Can federal agents use school property?' Surveillance footage from June 17 shows agents in marked and unmarked vehicles, some reportedly armed, stepping out and urinating near Ruben Salazar High and a live preschool, prompting the district to write, 'Any reasonable person... would clearly recognize the surroundings to be those of a school where minors are taught.'

That preschool-adjacent pee break now dominates search trends like 'Why were ICE agents on campus?' and 'What happens when federal agents break California law?' El Rancho Unified demanded a federal probe and Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn deadpanned, 'Now ICE and CBP agents are allegedly entering school campuses, pulling down their pants, and urinating on playgrounds—it's a slap in the face to our communities.' The playground’s jungle gym never saw it coming.

On June 17, as summer school buzzed nearby, school staff confronted nearly a dozen ICE agents, who departed post-pee—leaving behind a surveillance video more viral than cafeteria pizza day.
