In Anaheim, California, 1,423 individuals—including students, parents, firefighters, and police officers—gathered at Yorba Park to play the largest game of Red Light, Green Light, shattering previous records. Organized by CF Fitness Inc., the event aimed to promote physical activity and community unity, with participants racing toward referees upon hearing 'Green Light' and freezing at 'Red Light.'

The event, held on May 21, featured CF Fitness mascot Lil Muscle and drew support from local officials and families. Despite initial challenges in organizing the large crowd, the game proceeded successfully, culminating in Guinness World Records Adjudicator Brittany Dunn announcing the new record, leaving her with a sore face from smiling.

The previous record was held by the University of California, Irvine, with 1,415 participants in 2022, making Anaheim's 1,423-player game a new benchmark in communal childhood nostalgia.
