A 27 year old London woman discovered a tracking device on her car after her iPhone sent a warning while she was driving on December 21.
Dina Jalaf said the alert appeared as she headed to McDonald's, stating a Loshall tag was traveling with her vehicle. She asked viewers, "What do I do? How do I search my car?"
Alarmed, Jalaf drove straight to her nearest police station instead of going home. Officers advised her to visit a car dealership to remove and dispose of the tracker.
Jalaf said only her parents had access to the car, leaving her confused. In a follow up video, she revealed the culprit was her mum and dad.
"It was my parents," she said. "I do not have a stalker, unless you count my parents as the stalkers." She added they confessed after learning she contacted police.
Apple introduced automatic tracker alerts in 2021 to curb misuse. Jalaf ended bluntly, saying she was done with them, a family GPS lesson delivered the hard way.
